Update Script Support
How to use your update script to update a Web page
Developed in-house,
The Dedicated Partnership's update script (DediUpdate v2.2.1) allows the
novice internet user to update a page of content of his or her Web site.

It is important to note that scripts
created by The Dedicated Partnership are not restricted to sites that
use our hosting services; anyone who would like to take advantage of this
service should contact us.

If you have requested an
update script from us, you will have been issued a username and
password to enable you to make changes to your Web site.
To use the script:
- Go to http://www.dedicgi.co.uk/your_username
- Select 'Use update script'
- Enter your username and password at the
prompt
- Now follow the simple instructions on
the page to edit the content on your Web site. This should take
less than a minute (unless you are wanting to type a lot of text
in). Once done, click on 'make the changes' and your Web site
will be immediately updated.

here. Since any inputted text is immediately published on to the Web,
we have removed part of the edit facility in this example to prevent any
offensive messages being posted publicly.
